Creating and Managing Comment Boards and Social Feeds

In this article, we will walk you through the process of creating and overseeing your comment boards, including managing who can view and comment on them.


Creating a Comment Board - also known as a Social Feed 

  • Inside the experience where you want to house the comment board, choose “Build Menu & Add Content
  • On the menu feature tab, navigate to the "build your menu" and choose the comment board. 

  • Name your comment board or social feed and Choose a Layout - there are two styles to choose from


🌟TIP🌟 By default, notifications for new posts are enabled, but you have the option to turn them off by selecting the “Disable Notifications” box. Additionally, you can choose whether to allow or restrict users from viewing the posters' Social profiles.

  • Determine the permissions - Specify who has the ability to upload media and post on the board.

Managing and monitoring content 

  • Allowable Media Size and Type
    • Allowed formats: .mov, .mp4. 
    • Max video size: 50MB.

Adding and deleting media from the media gallery from the dashboard 

  • You can interact with the comment board on the app or via the dashboard 


  • You can also delete your own comments in the dashboard. 


⚠️ At this time, you are not able to delete other users' comments in the dashboard; however, you user is able to delete the comment from the app. If you do find unacceptable content and your users will not remove it, you can report it to team@encappture.com, and we will remove it.
