In this article, we walk you through creating and managing your Media Gallery, including who can view, post, and comment.
Creating a Media Gallery
- Inside the experience where you want to house the media gallery, choose “Build Menu & Add Content
- On the menu features tab, navigate to the “Build your Menu” and choose Media Gallery.
- Name your Gallery and select a layout - you have two different styles available to choose from.
- Decide if you want users to be able to download media from the gallery.
- Decide if you want users to be able to upload media to the media gallery.
- Notifications of new posts are set as a default, but you can disable this by simply checking the “Disable Notifications” box.
Managing and monitoring content
- Allowable Media Size and Type
- Allowed formats: .mov, .mp4.
- Max video size: 50MB.
- Managing media content in the media gallery can be done directly from the dashboard.
- The administrator has the ability to delete an image along with any comments made by users.
Flagged Content
- Access the “Add/View Media” tab, and locate the “Flagged content” button on the right side of the screen.
- Click on it to be directed to a separate screen displaying flagged content.
You will also be able to see who reported the media and chose to
- Review media file
- Delete Report (file will be unflagged)
- Delete media file
