How to Delete a User 

In this article, we will show you how to delete users from your app using the enCapture dashboard

Deleting a user

  • Go to "Users" on the left-side menu. 
  • Search for contacts by name or email.
  • Go to the far right and click the three dots 
  • Choose "Delete User" from the drop-down

The user will then get an email notifying them they have been deleted.

Rather than deleting a user, you can also make them "Inactive."

You can then Reactivate and Inactive users by selecting "Revert Inactive", and the user will have access to the app again

  • Once you have located the user, simply select the "X" button to remove them from the system.

  • HOW TO DELETE  A PENDING USER
  • You will be prompted to confirm the deletion of the user. If you wish to proceed, simply click on the green button labeled "SET USER AS DELETE."

  • Once the deletion is successful, a green checkmark will indicate that the user has been successfully removed, and their status will be displayed as "Deleted."
  • The contact will be notified via email that their profile has been deleted and they will no longer have access to log in using their username and password.

Can I "Undelete" a user?

  • Certainly! If the user is still in your contacts, even if they are in a "Deleted" status, you have the ability to reactivate that user.
  • To reactivate a user, click on the Green Checkmark in the actions area and follow the prompt to confirm the "REVERSE DELETE."
