Updating The App to a New Version

This article will help you guide users on how to update their app when necessary

 For IOS - Apple Devices 

1. When they open the app, they see this message: New Update is required -> click Update.
2. This directs them to the App Store -> click Update
3. Once the update is installed, it changes to Open -> click Open

If you have users that are not automatically updated, they can also access two other ways:

1. Go to the App Store to update:

• • Click on their icon
  • Click on "Purchased."
  • Click on "My Purchases"
  • Find the app and click "update."

2. Delete the App :

• • Then, redownload it again
  • This will automatically be the newest version

  • Username
  • Device (i.e. Samsung Galaxy 26)
  • System installed (i.e. Android 12)
  • Screenshot/video of any error

Determining the Current Version of the App

• Navigate to your user profile on the screen's top right-hand corner and click on it. A sidebar will appear on the right, showing the version you currently use at the screen's bottom right-hand side.

For Android Devices  

Go to the Google Play Store search for the app, and click update. 

              

You can also find the app in your installed apps by going to your Google account and clicking "Manage apps & devices."



From there, you can see all installed apps and look for apps that need an update. 

To check the version of the app you are using, simply go to the top right corner of your app, where your social profile is located, and click on it. The version you are currently using will be displayed at the bottom right corner of the screen.

⚠️ Please note that the app requires a minimum of ANDROID 9 for compatibility. Older versions are no longer supported.

If you are not sure what Android Version operating system you are using, go to the phone settings and choose "About this phone." 

From there, choose "Software information." 

You will then be able to see the Android Version your phone is using.
