Ways to Invite Users to Your App

There are several methods to invite caregivers to your app. Below, we will explore these methods.

It is important to understand that if your app requires users to sign in, they will need to be added to the system before gaining access.

Initial Setup with Your Mobile Coach:

During your meeting, your mobile coach will ask for an email address from which your invitations will be sent. Together, you'll establish a default password that's easy to remember, like your agency's name followed by a number (e.g., "agency1234"). Users will use this password for their initial login, after which they'll be prompted to create a new password.

Adding Caregivers to the System:

Caregivers can be added to the system through your dashboard in two ways:

Note: Your mobile coach can help with uploading users. Just provide an Excel file with the caregivers' First Name, Last Name, Email, and any desired tags. If you're not familiar with tagging, check out our helpful article [here]

Sending Invitations:

Once users are registered in the system, you can start sending app invitations. The system-generated email, which includes a temporary password, is necessary to activate the users.

When your app goes live, your mobile coach will give you URLs for your app on both the Apple App Store (for iOS users) and Google Play Store (for Android users), along with a QR code directing to these links.

System-generated email: This email contains links to the App Store and Google Play Store, as well as the temporary password. Sending this email will activate the user in the system. To ensure users receive their invitations, you can also utilize multiple methods, such as combining a system-generated email with a personal email or text message.

Other Methods of Sending Invitations:

  • Send a personalized email; you can use your office system to craft a message tailored to each caregiver. Be sure to include the app download links and the temporary password. Here is a suggested template to help you get started.

  • Text system: If you communicate with users through text messaging, you can simply send them the download links directly to their mobile phones.

  • CRM or EMR messaging: Use platforms such as WellSky or Alya Care to send links, ensuring that users who frequently use these systems do not miss the invitation.

  • Printed QR code: This is a helpful tool to use during user orientation sessions in the office, making it simple for users to scan and download the app.

Note: Please make sure to include both the Android (Play Store) and iOS (Apple Store) links when using the methods mentioned above. Additionally, don't forget to provide the temporary password that was set by your mobile coach.

Once the app is downloaded, caregivers can log in using their email address and the default password. They will then be prompted to set a new password.

Pre-Launch Tip:

We recommend informing your caregivers about a week in advance to ensure they are prepared for the upcoming system-generated app invitation.
